This project in the City of Discovery involved the remodelling of the main aircraft hardstanding and taxiways, adjacent to the terminal at Dundee Airport. Raynesway also constructed a helicopter landing pad and installed new edge lighting and drainage. Two large oil interceptors and associated drainage were installed to deal with run-off water from the extended hardstanding. Their installation, in poor ground, required extensive temporary works.
Our planning and management took into account all of the obligations involved in working airside and in carrying out the scheme in three phases, to maintain access.
