Warren Street Station Refurbishment

The project involved refurbishment of the station exterior, which included the renewal of the ceiling and all wall finishes, and a new electronic customer information display was installed in the ticket hall.

The works carried out involved:

• the installation of new ceiling linings in the upper and lower escalator shafts,
• floor tiling in the middle circulating area,
• new wall,
• floor and ceiling finishes in lower circulating area,
• renewal of surfacing,
• wall tiling and paintwork along the Northern Line platforms,
• new lighting system in all areas from the ticket hall to the Northern Line platforms,
• installation of a new cable management system, and
• help points and security mirrors and the upgrade of CCTV system throughout the station.
