Victoria Station Upgrade

The scheme involves the relocation of the majority of the Statutory Undertakers equipment in the Victoria Station area. The enabling works are required as part of a major planned congestion relief scheme for the station which is due to commence in 2009.

The upgrade incorporates advance utility diversions and ancillary enabling works and is designed to meet current and future passenger demands and resolve congestion at the station. The works will involve identifying, co-ordinating and integrating all necessary utility companies' equipment, carrying out the necessary ancillary enabling works, temporary traffic and pedestrian diversions and liaison with appropriate authorities.
