Jubilee Gardens Refurbishment

This £0.5 million project comprised upgrading and refurbishing an area of urban coastal frontage, known locally as Jubilee Gardens.

4,000 tonnes of demolition arisings from Birse Civils other coastal project in Cleveleys were incorporated on the scheme, partly helping to create a MUGA (multi use games area), a skateboard park and a two to 12 year old play area.

5,000 square metres of paving (coloured concrete, astroturf and tarmac) were used to enhance the existing garden area, in addition to extensive ornamental planting and siting of an obelisk.
