The M25 DBFO is a 30 year project to both widen the M25 to four lanes, predominately in the Northern section and to operate and maintain the project road for the period.  This includes the M25 orbital and a series of major feeder roads onto the M25 (spurs & tails) making up half of the 400 km length of the total project road.

Connect Plus will deliver these services through two principal supply chain partners.

Connect Plus Services - Operation, Maintenance and Charging

Connect Plus Services will encompass the routine maintenance, as well as managing the whole life requirement of the asset.  They will also manage the operation of the network and identify ways of reducing delay and improving journey time reliability.  A programme of management and design for the renewal works will be identified and implemented.

Its unique Knowledge Management Centre (KMC) will deliver real-time coordinated control of on-road resources.  At the same time, it will monitor and capture all aspects of network performance.

Skanska Balfour Beatty - Widening Joint Venture
