A68 Cleikemin Junction Improvements

Raynesway Construction has been awarded a contract on the A68 at Cleikemin, just north of Jedburgh.
The contract has been let on a lane rental basis. The existing junction of the A68 with the A698 is to be improved. The street lighting is to be renewed, associated signage will be modified, the safety barriers will be upgraded and extended and some traffic island alterations will also take place. Care will be taken at all times not to disrupt the gas, fibre optic telecommunications cable and water main that exist within the verges being worked on.
