Silver Lining for the M1 at the Considerate Constructors Awards

Balfour Beatty Major Civil Engineering's, M1 6A-10 Widening Team have once again been rewarded for their sterling work in completing this major scheme early, with a Silver Considerate Constructors (CCS) Award.

This accolade is indicative of the consistently high standards maintained on the project, coming 12 months after the scheme received Silver at the 2008 awards.

This time around, the team were rewarded for "Exceptional achievements" in the Environment, Neighbour, and Safe categories, and commended for the high standards achieved in the Considerate, Cleanliness, Respectful, Responsible, and Accountable categories.

In presenting the award the CCS team stated  "this site was a credit to Balfour Beatty Skanska Joint Venture, and to the site team".
