A2 Kingston Bridleway Bridge Team win ICE Brassey Award

The Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald Area 4 joint venture has triumphed at the ICE South East of England Excellence Awards, receiving an accolade for the A2 Kingston Bridleway Bridge.
The highly sought after ICE Brassey Award was presented to representatives from Balfour Beatty Mott MacDonald and the Highways Agency at a dinner in Maidstone on Friday 18th June. The project was deemed by the judges to be the 'best all round' for engineering ingenuity and innovation, a positive impact on the local community and exceptional care of the environment.
The A2 Kingston Bridleway Bridge was designed primarily to eliminate the factors causing accidents involving pedestrians trying to cross the road and to improve links to bus stops and public rights of way.
These awards are intended specifically to recognise excellence in engineering and project that make a positive difference to the environment or community.
