Highways Services delivers strategic network management and maintenance services based on our wide range of operational and technical capabilities, including specialist advisor services providing innovative solutions to meet our customers' needs.

We manage all aspects of the highways network from feasibility through to planning, design and operational delivery. Ensuring accessibility, safety, congestion and sustainability are addressed throughout the network and assets life-cycle.  Our services can be provided on a stand-alone basis or in combination to provide a truly integrated service that ensures best value is built-in from the outset.

Design

Network Solutions
We design, provide, manage and maintain technology solutions across the UK road network, including variable message signs, emergency telephones, CCTV and safety cameras.

We work on behalf of the Highways Agency in Area 4 (Kent, Surrey and Sussex), Area 2 (Somerset, Avon, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire) and DBFO contracts on the A50, A30 and M1/A1. From 13 September 2009 we will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the M25 network in joint venture with Atkins and Egis.
