Balfour Beatty Major Civil Engineering's, Major Projects has a market leading portfolio of current contracts including:

• A3 Hindhead - Major Projects is constructing this ECI road improvement scheme that is centered on a 2km tunnel in the highly environmentally sensitive Surrey Hills.
• A46 Newark - an ECI scheme to provide a new dual carriageway linking Leicester and Nottingham with Newark and Lincoln.
• A421 (M1 J13 to Bedford) - in this ECI scheme, Junction 13 will be improved and a 13km dual carriageway built offline of the existing, busy A421.
• East London Line - Major Projects, in joint venture has designed and is now constructing this improved rail link from North to South London.
• Isle of Grain LNG tanks - three of the world's largest Liquified Natural Gas tanks are being constructed in Kent by Major Projects in joint venture.
• Sellafield Sludge Processing Plant 1- Major Projects is currently constructing this facility to store intermediate-level radioactive sludge.
• M1 Junctions 6A-10 - Major Projects is widening 17km of this heavily congested motorway from the M25 to Luton in joint venture.
• King's Cross Northern Ticket Hall - Major Projects is currently constructing the Northern Ticket Hall located between the Great Northern Hotel and King's Cross main line suburban platforms.
• Thameslink Blackfriars Station and Bridge Reconstruction Scheme - Network Rail awarded Balfour Beatty the contract to deliver Blackfriars Station and Bridge Reconstruction Scheme, a vital part of the £5.5billion government funded Thameslink investment managed by Network Rail.
• Midfield Pier at Heathrow - Major Projects has begun works as part of a Balfour Beatty integrated team to construct what will eventually be Terminal 2.
