Northern Division

Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering's Northern Division operates throughout Scotland via an extensive network of regional offices based in Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Paisley, and includes Raynesway Construction, responsible for contracts throughout Central Scotland. Northern Division is also responsible for Balfour Beatty Ireland based in Dublin and Construct HR which provides health & safety training to the construction industry.

Our employees provide a local, focused, relationship based service. Local offices ensure that regional resources and intelligence can be efficiently applied to every contract we undertake.

Our dedicated project teams are active in all sectors of the civil engineering market, including highways, airports, railways, regeneration, harbour and marine works, water and sewerage, on-shore petrochemical works and substations with contracts ranging in value from £50,000 to over £25 million.

In addition to traditional contracts, our Northern Division has a long track record of working in frameworks, partnerships and alliances. Our work ethos is one that embraces change, welcomes new ideas and supports the move towards a more co-operative approach in construction.
